The President Mr. Milan Compel and the 1st Vice-President of the Chamber Mr. Julius Drugda were welcomed at the Ministry of Economy on October 14, 2008 by the General Director of the Section of Trade and Consumer Protection Mrs. Eva Szoboova. From the side of the Ministry also the Director of International Trade Department Mr. Miroslav Trebula, Senior State Counsellor Mr. Branislav Javorek and the former Commercial Counsellor of the Slovak Embassy in Indonesia Mr. Peter Svitek were present at the meeting. The SIOK representatives informed the Ministry about SIOK establishment, its goals in coming days and the future with the perspective of mutual cooperation between SIOK and ME. Also the matter of potential sectors of trade between Slovakia and Indonesia was discussed. Concerned parties agreed on mutual cooperation and exchange of information and about further progress after the arrival of SIOK official delegation to Indonesia for the 23rd Trade Expo 2008. |

The Meeting of representatives of Slovak - Indonesian Chamber of Commerce (SIOK) and representatives of Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) for was realized on 8th October 2008 on request of SIOK. Representatives of SIOK Mr. Milan COMPEL and Mr. Tomas ZIAK informed representatives of SARIO Mrs. Katarina SCEPKOVA and Mrs. Andrea CHOVANCOVA about establishment of SIOK, about fields of potential cooperation to enlarge Slovak Indonesian economic cooperation and about the mission of SIOK going to Indonesia for 23rd Trade Expo 2008. Both sides agreed on cooperation, mutual support and exchange of information. At the end of their meeting both sides agreed on next meeting after the arrival of SIOK’s representatives from Jakarta. |

Sentanajaya , the 2nd Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia at working luncheon. |
