New investments in five pioneer industries will receive a tax holiday facility for up to 10 years, according to regulations on investment incentives issued by the government recently. Tje break would be given to comanies producing 87 product items which comprise 35 base metal products, 21 petrochemical products, 17 machinery items 10 renewable energy products and four types of communication equipment, under the base metals, oil refining and basic petrochemical, machinery, renewable energy and telecommunication industries, Industry Climate and Quality Policy Board chief Aryanto Sagala said in Jakarta on Thursday. Representatives of SIOK joint official visit of the Slovak President Ivan Gasparovic in Indonesia from 10th till 12th October 2011. All involved and interested parties consider this visit as the great success in between Slovak Indonesian relations and the most important event from the independence of Slovakia in mutual relations. Under the supervision of H.E. President Gasparovic, H.E. Coordinating Economic Minister of the Republic of Indonesia Hatta Rajasa, H.E. Minister of Economy of Slovakia Juraj Miskov such as H.E. Ambassadors of Indonesia and Slovakia Mr. Harsha Joesoef and Mr. Stefan Rozkopal 14 agreements were singed in the total value of over $ 1 billion. The base of great cooperation have and of long and diligent effort of diplomats of both countries.

The representatives of the Slovak-Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and the company SEZ Krompachy attended the Second Business Mission to Indonesia from the 27th of October until the 1st of November. The first aim of the mission was to visit the exhibition Trade Expo Jakarta 2009. The second aim but not less was to continue in development of contacts which have been acquired during the First Business Mission, to attract new contacts which have been recommended by the Diplomatic Mission of Indonesia in SR and to uphold the negotiation opportunities in designated field of cooperation as well as to start the concrete negotiation in case of interest. |

The first Business forum between Slovak and Indonesian businessmen was held during three days, on 22nd, 25th and 28th September 2009, in Bratislava. BF was organized by Indonesian Embassy in Bratislava with assistance of SIOK and SARIO.
Business Forum was the first, unique and historical opportunity while considered range of and its territorial dimension involving Indonesian and Slovak businessmen. |

On July 28, 2009 the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Slovakia together with SIOK and SARIO (Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency) organized the Business Luncheon in Hotel Park Inn Bratislava with the representatives of business sphere in Slovakia. Also the expectant Ambassador of the Slovak Republic in Indonesia Mr. Stefan Rozkopal attended this meeting. |
