Working visit of the delegation of the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries of the Republic of Indonesia |

On February 7 – 9, 2009 the delegation of the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries of the Republic of Indonesia arrived to Bratislava for the working visit. The visit was paid on the invitation of the SIOK President Mr. Milan Compel and the whole SIOK. The delegation was led by Mr. Martani Huseini, the General Director of Fisheries Product Processing and Marketing and further consisted of Mr. Saut P. Hutagalung, the Director of Foreign Market Development, Mr. Yulianto, the Deputy Director for Analysis and Information and Mr. Firdauzie Dwiandika, Chargé d` Affaires of the Embassy of Indonesia in Bratislava. SIOK was represented by Mr. Milan Compel, the President of SIOK and Mr. Julius Drugda, the 1st Vice-President of SIOK. The working visit was the continuation of discussions which have already started in October last year in Jakarta during the 23rd International Trade EXPO 2008 Exhibition. The negotiations on February 8, 2009 in the rooms of Hotel Medium were opened by the President of SIOK Mr. Milan Compel, he informed the Indonesian side about the latest developments of SIOK. Very good contacts have been forged with the Ministry of Agriculture of the Slovak Republic and with the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO). The carrier point of the working meeting was the matter of trade exchange in a field of fish processing industry and possibilities offered by the markets of both countries respectively the perspectives to the future.
On the following day 9th of February the Indonesian delegation with Mr. Firdauzie Dwiandika, Chargé d` Affaires a.i. and Mr. Made P. Sentanajaya, the Head of Counsular Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Bratislava accomplished the negotiations with the General Director for the Foreign Coordination Mrs. Marieta Okenkova and bilateral discussions with the expert for aquaculture Mr. Podola at the Ministry of Agriculture. |
